Vital Signs® is a regular check-up conducted by community foundations to measure the vitality of communities across Canada. It gathers and publishes data on significant social and economic trends in areas critical to the quality of life.
Vital Signs® reports promote awareness of community issues and can help generate discussion, drive policy change and focus community leadership activities in the Comox Valley.
In 2016 and 2018 The Comox Valley Social Planning Society partnered with the Comox Valley Community Foundation and other community partners to produce Vital Signs written reports. in 2023 we became a sponsor of the new Vital Signs Data Hub launched in our community. The Data Hub centralizes over 70 regional data indicators and will grow in the future as more data indicators are added. Please explore the data hub, learn how you can use it and share with others.
